Côte d Azur

Beautiful Cote d’Azur… It is definitely a special place for me, where I am eager to come back. This year 2015 gave me an opportunity to explore this beautiful area a little bit more than the last time. We stayed in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin which I find way better than living in expensive Monaco.

The visit time was spring, an adorable time to enjoy nature and surroundings without lots of tourists.

Although we have already been in Monaco, we couldn’t resist to do it once again.

My favourite area in Monaco is the old town – Monaco Ville. Charming streets, warm colours, amazing coastline – everything is just perfect there.

We had time to visit the Oceanographic Museum and I liked the fact, that the museum was led by the legendary Jacques-Yves Cousteau. There we could even stroke small sharks – a breathtaking experience!

Our main goal was not touristic as usual – to attend a tennis tournament and to cheer for Rafa Nadal at Monte-Carlo Country Club. It is a real pleasure to see him once again after a long break and I liked mornings so much because we were waiting for him.

We had good seats and once again I managed to get a little bit closer and take some photos in VIP lodge.

We met our good friends from Moscow and spent joyful days together! Even our seats were magically next to each other.

Our friends know the french riviera well and they recommended us to take a bus ride to Villefranche-sur-Mer. I appreciate their suggestion so much! It was a small village with a soul.

On one of the streets I let Nik to sit down and made some photos.

And last but not least stop was Nice. To be honest I didn’t know much about this city and I had high expectations. What I loved there was an ice cream. Believe it or not it was the best ice cream I have ever eaten in my life! It was a berry sorbet!

Some cool things on the streets – it could be a good place for photo shooting.

Flower market made me speechless. Tiny place in compare with Riga flower market, but so beautiful and rare flowers there! Men were buying monobouquets – bunches of peonies, ranunculus, poppies. I think it is impossible to be wrong with these amazing flowers.

Some shops were closed but I would love to buy something there.
